Angels and even YHVH (The Creator), have often been portrayed as having physical wings. Now if these wings are real, then for what possible purpose could Spiritual Angels or YHVH need physical wings? Could it be that these wings are not actual, but are symbolic of a deeper spiritual meaning? Join me and let's explore . . . .

The Mystery of The Wings

YHVH usually portrays Himself and His Spiritual World in physical terms that enable physical people to understand Spiritual Truth by drawing upon the parallel meanings or relationships that exist between the two worlds. Indeed, YHVH reveals Himself in His creation!

Romans 1:19-20
19 because that which is known by YHVH is revealed in them, for YHVH revealed it to them (His Elect).
20 For the invisible things of Him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even His everlasting power and divinity; that they (Natural Man) may be without excuse.

Assuming that you have been following our "Page-by-Page" format, then you should now be fully informed on the "Pneuma" and "The Holy Pneuma," I will begin by introducing Scripture in which "Wings" are used in a relationship with either YHVH, His Angels or an object considered to serve a Sacred Purpose.

Exodus 25:17-22
(Hebrew, kanaph, Strong's #3671, wing, extremity, feather or flap of a bird, army, building or garment.)

17 You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. Two and a half cubits shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.
18 You shall make two cherubim of hammered gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.
19 Make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one piece with the mercy seat.
20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.
21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and inside the ark you shall put the testimony (Ten Commandments of The Covenant) that I will give you.
22 There I (YHVH) will meet with you, and I will tell you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim (under their wings) which are on the ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel ( Physical seed of Abraham, and Spiritual Seed of Abraham ).


2 Samuel 22:11 & Psalms 18:10
11 He rode on a cherub, and did fly; Yes, he was seen on the wings of the wind (kanaph).

Note: The description of "did fly" and "wind" truly indicate the ability to quickly travel through the atmosphere or pneuma ("ruach" in Hebrew). Also, the usage of "Wings" in this verse definitely indicates the symbolism of "personification", as if the wind has its own "Wings." Apparently, YHVH's children (with Spiritual Ears to HEAR, and Spiritual Eyes to SEE) are being given a MENTAL IMAGE (VISION) by the description of THE WINGS, but just exactly what is this VISION telling US.

Job 39:13
13 "The wings of the ostrich wave proudly; But are they the pinions and plumage of love?

Note: This time the word wings comes from the Hebrew words "abar", "eber, and "ebrah" which are definitely wings or pinions, but notice the bold verse after the semicolon above. Here we can see that YHVH is telling us that there are two kinds of wings; Symbolic and Actual. The actual words being "abar", "eber, and "ebrah" (Strong's #82, #83 and #84). So now we can safely see that wings (kanaph) are symbolic, but have a parallel function similar to Actual Wings, and with a mental attribute (pneuma or Spirit) of "Righteous Love." Therefore, "Kanaph" is symbolic of some type of movement (like wind) within the Sacred Pneuma(Holy Spirit of Love), and "abar", "eber", and "ebrah" are the means of movement within the natural pneuma of this physical world of which Satan (Human Nature) is Prince.

Psalms 17:6-8
6 I have called on you, for you will answer me, YHVH: Turn your EAR to me. HEAR my speech.
7 Show your marvelous loving kindness, You who save those who take refuge by your right hand(YHVH's Anointed) from their enemies.
8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; Hide me under the shadow(protection) of your wings ("Kanaph" or within the Sacred Ruach or Spirit of Love),


Psalms 91:4
4 He will cover you with His pinions, Under His wings ("Kanaph" or within the Sacred Ruach [pneuma] of Love) you will take refuge(protection). His truth is a shield (protection) and a buckler (protection).


Ruth 2:12
YHVH recompense your work, and a full reward be given you of YHVH, the EL of Israel, under whose wings ("Kanaph" or within the Sacred Pneuma [Ruach] of Love) you are come to take refuge (protection).

Note: This time YHVH Himself is represented as having Protective Spiritual Wings. Didn't YHVH's Spirit "Hover"?

Genesis 1:2
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God hovered (moved) upon the face of the waters.

Psalms 104:1-4
Bless YHVH, my soul. YHVH, my EL, you are very great. You are clothed with honor and majesty.
2 He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.
3 He lays the beams of his chambers in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings ("Kanaph") of the wind (The wings are now established as CARRIERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS).
4 He makes His Angels(MESSENGERS) winds (To Be CARRIERS); His servants flames of fire (SOURCES OF LIGHT).


Ecclesiastes 10:20 (Symbolic physical to Spiritual parallels)
20 Don't revile the king, no, not in your thoughts; And don't revile the rich in your bedchamber: For a bird of the sky(PNEUMA) may carry your voice, And that (Messenger Angel) which has wings("Kanaph" or within the Sacred Pneuma of Love) may tell the matter.

Note: As you can plainly see, not even your thoughts are private from YHVH, because His Spiritually Winged Messengers can travel through both the natural and the Sacred Pneuma and even enter into your mind wherein your pneuma (spirit, character, morality or mentality) resides.

Isaiah 6:1-2
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
2 Above him stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.

Mystery Solved!

The spirit realm version of Kanaph uses the Natural Wings of Birds to symbolize the same function of winged MOVEMENT, as that of natural birds THROUGH THE AIR; IT, ALSO, Spiritually teaches by example the MOVEMENT of Righteous Thoughts(Angels) through the Sacred Ruach (Righteousness Seeking Mentality, MIND or Spirit Wind), as well as, the MOVEMENT of unrighteous thoughts (Demons) through the natural Ruach (aka. pneuma or MIND) of self-centered Man. Moreover, the Righteous Spirit Realm Kanaph(SPIRITUAL WINGS) can MOVE through both the natural pneuma (MINDS OF NATURAL MAN) and the Sacred Pneuma (MINDS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS SEEKERS), and can transmit or carry the personal mindset (RIGHTEOUS or UNRIGHTEOUS THOUGHTS) between both human beings, and to and from YHVH.
So lets step back for a second and take another look at what has been revealed in these verses and this message. We have an metaphorical "WING" that can CARRY INFORMATION(Good or Evil) from human to human and-or YHVH with or without Spiritual (Righteousness Seeking) EARS to HEAR or EYES to SEE, and it has the POWER to go through the AIR. So what in all of YHVH's creation has that or those abilities? Do I have to spell it out? Okay, ENERGY in three forms; both SOUND WAVES and LIGHT WAVES are forms of communication that travel as carriers of thoughts (good or evil) through the air, and ELECTRIC ENERGY transfers that same information into and through our MINDS from our EYES (that See), and our EARS (that Hear). This has nothing to do with psychic powers, and everything to do with voice communication, visual communication, Prayer, Visions, Dreams, Spiritual Discernment or Spiritual Groanings.
